Central Oregon
It’s where to be . . .
for the rich and wealthy . . .
No, for EVERYBODY!
My husband and I moved here from a small town in Idaho to be closer to family and have a good life. There’s so much to do and so much to see here in central Oregon but we didn’t know that the housing market here in Bend would be so high. People having to continuously look for roommates just to afford an apartment to live in; so to avoid a trap of working for rent; we decided to build our home. We bought a school bus to build our home in and are very excited to do this project.
Our bus is at DIYCAVE located at 444 SE 9th St #150, in Bend Oregon. They support the alternate living idea and have so much to offer. They have a workshop full of tools we can use being a member. They also do a large variety of classes such as welding, auto repair, metalworking, cabinetry, and so much more.
DIYCAVE is a great place to do any project no matter how big or small. They have a great open minded staff and are willing to work with you on your ideas. I’m so grateful that they’re here in Bend. They’re making my home possible for we haven’t the tools nor place to work on a bus house.
We’re starting with the floor and building up from there. Every step is being recorded and we’re happily sharing with everyone.
