Saving The Old & Adding New Insulation
Day 38 Been a very hot day today but I wasn't going to let the heat deter my ambition and positive attitude. I put on all my safety gear for handling fiber glass insulation. I have very sensitive skin and you always want safety first when working with fiber glass. Less than an hour later I was dripping with sweat and about to keel over from the heat. Instead of pulling down all the old fiber glass and replacing it with new we decided to use both. After popping rivets out we measure and cut cardboard to fit the ceiling and use it to push the old insulation up into the ceiling allowing a flat clean surface to glue the recycled denim insulation on top of it.
