A New Face & New Progress
Day 44 Dave and I show up at DIYcave early this morning to get things going before the heat. Another person was here working. We introduce ourselves and his name is Jason but he likes to be called JC. We had seen him here before and we both said hello in passing but never stopped and chatted until today. We all had time this morning, so we show him our bus and what we've done and what we want to do with our build. He loves what we're doing and throws in a few great ideas in design. Come to find out he's the owner of Padaran. A really awesome idea of camping on the water. Super cool. He's going to be starting a kick-starter for it and I think he's in the right business at the right place.

JC has a very uplifting personality and Dave and I are grateful to have met him today. We look forward to the friendship that will grow here; His positive energy and outwards thinking is really contagious.
Dave and I are meeting really unique people here at DIYcave. I'm glad such a outrageous collective can consolidate here and swap ideas, exchange things, and just happily work together. It really is a magical creative space here, bringing a vase variety together to make something more than it's worth.
We're making a lot of progress today. There's a section of the floor that needs welded and Tim, one of the co-owners of DIYcave offered to button it up for us. Dave crawls underneath the bus and chips away the foam insulation to help prevent any fires while he welds there. We'll have to replace it with new foam but that's not a problem. We also got foil tape to help seal up any cracks in the denim insulation. I'm so grateful for the cooler weather today. We've been staying rather busy. I'm hoping to get the rest of our bedroom ceiling insulated today. It's looking real good.
