Day 55
I'm super happy that today is my Friday at work, plus I get time and a half for the holiday. I broke a sweat, I tore a fingernail, and I broke two saucers. I was putting them away and the stack just slipped out of my gloved hands halfway on the shelf. A stack of eight hit the floor like dominos, one right after another and only two broke. I'm super glad it was only two. While sweeping up the mess I found a coffee cup handle underneath the shelves. I'm not the only one who broke a dish today.
Dave's been working just as hard in the bus today. Our labor of love. He removed all the stickers from the sub-floor and starts building a mock up of the bed frame and walls. Building a mock-up first, using the materials we have to work with before making anything permanent makes for an awesome visual diagram and gives us ideas on what we can do for sure. I love how things are coming together.
